Dwarf Fortress

So I recently started to play Dwarf Fortress.
(I know right, why the hell have I not played it yet?)
The ascii inferface really turned me off,  but I have started reading up on some guides.
The mechanics and depth to it is amazing.
I was just wondering what your opinion on Dwarf Fortress is.

    I played that game for about 72 hours in 3 days.

    It was crack cocaine.

    But I felt like I had enough haha

      Haha that's good to hear.
      To be honest, it's my first time playing this sort of management-strategy game, so it's a bit overwhelming at first.
      However, I am slowly getting the hang of it.
      I can start to feel the addiction kicking in.
